Heatsink for SLC5 (35x35x10 mm)

SL-HEATSINK-35x35x10-A is the extruded aluminium heatsink with pins, dedicated to SLC5 single board computer (TitanSBC-8Mmini). Plastic pins enable convenient mounting of the heat sink to the SBC board.

We recommend using a thermally conductive spacer AGT-160 30x30x2,0 mm or AGT-159 30x30x1,0 mm (both: 6W/mK) between the radiator and electronic components.

TitanSBC-8Mmini (SLC5)
Multimedia industrial SBC

The TitanSBC-8Mmini (SLC5) is a new generation single board computer (SBC), based on energy efficient and fast 64-bit quad core industrial, heterogenous MPU NXP i.MX8Mmini, equipped with Cortex-A53 cores.

The main MPU of TitanSBC-8Mmini (SLC5) single board computer is equippped with real-time Cortex-M4 core, Gigabit Ethernet interface, video codec (H.265, H.264, VP8, VP9), PCIe 2.0 interface and another communication peripherals often used in industrial applications. Internal GPU offers up to 1080p60 resolution on HDMI interfaces with independent 2D (GC320) and 3D (Vivante  GCNano Ultra) GPU engines. The MPU cores run at 1.8GHz without thermal throttling using the stock heat sink allowing a robust and quiet computer. The low-power LPDDR4 RAM memory used by default in TitanSBC-8Mmini computer additionally helps save energy.

The TitanSBC-8Mmini is equipped with on-board 1Gb/s Ethernet interface, half-duplex RS-485 interface, on-board RTC with external battery connector, audio codec (with headphone and microphone Jack connector and external speakers outputs), HDMI, 4 x USB 2.0 host connectors, 1 x USB-OTG connector, MIPI-CSI camera connector, PCIe 2.0 FPC connector (dedicated M.2 adapter available: SL-ADP-PCIe-M2), MicroSD card connector, DC/DC converter adapted to 12V external power supply. Optionally dedicated passive heatsink is available.

SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-RGB – 7” display module with parallel RGB interface and CTP

The SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-RGB  7” display module is based on Riverdi RVT70HSTNWC00 or RVT70HSTFWCA0 high quality LCD-TFT. Module is equipped with parallel RGB display interface, built-in CTP (capacitive touch panel) and integrated touch panel controller (ILI2132A, I2C).

The module SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-RGB contains all DC/DC  converters that are necessary for single rail power supply. Recommended power supply voltage is +5V (backlight) – provided by carrier-board.

The Riverdi RVT70HSTNWC00 and RVT70HSTFWCA0 display matrix size is 1024×600 pixels, default touch-panel communication interface is TTL-LV (+3.3V) compatible. LCD-TFT and CTP are covered with protective glass.
The FPC 50-pin flat cable (A-B) is included.

The SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-RGB is fully compatible only with SoMLabs carrier boards equipped with RGB connectors (FPC50) with 5V power supply for display. It means module SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-RGB is not compatible with the following carrier boards: VisionCB-6ULL-STD (up to version 2.0), VisionCB-RT-STD (up to version 1.1), VisionCB-STM32MP1-STD (up to version 1.1) and StarCB-6ULL-STD (yp to version 1.1).

SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-LVDS – 7” display module with LVDS interface and CTP

The SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-LVDS  7” display module is based on Riverdi RVT70HSLNWC00 high quality LCD-TFT. Module is equipped with LVDS embedded display interface, built-in CTP (capacitive touch panel) and integrated touch panel controller (ILI2132A, I2C).

The module SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-LVDS contains all DC/DC  converters that are necessary for single rail power supply. Recommended power supply voltage is +5V (backlight) – provided by carrier-board.

The Riverdi RVT70HSLNWC00 display matrix size is 1024×600 pixels, default touch-panel communication interface is TTL-LV (+3.3V) compatible. LCD-TFT and CTP are covered with protective glass.
The FPC 22-pin flat cable (A-B) is included.

The SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-LVDS is fully compatible with SoMLabs carrier boards equipped with LVDS connectors (FPC22) and MIPI-DSI/LVDS converter (IDC18/20).

The SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-MIPI  7” display module is based on Riverdi RVT70HSMNWC00 high quality LCD-TFT. Module is equipped with MIPI-DSI embedded display interface, built-in CTP (capacitive touch panel) and integrated touch panel controller (ILI2132A, I2C).

The module SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-MIPI contains all DC/DC  converters that are necessary for single rail power supply. Recommended power supply voltages are +3.3V (logic) and +5V (backlight) – both provided by carrier-board.

The Riverdi RVT70HSMNWC00 display matrix size is 1024×600 pixels, default touch-panel communication interface is TTL-LV (+3.3V) compatible. LCD-TFT and CTP are covered with protective glass.
The FPC 30-pin flat cable (A-A) is included.

The SL-TFT7-TP-600-1024-MIPI is fully compatible with SoMLabs carrier boards equipped with MIPI-DSI connectors.

SLH2-comm
Multiprotocol communication interface for StarSBC-6ULL

The SLH2-comm module (“hat”) is dedicated solution for StarSBC-6ULL Single Board Computer. The SLH2-comm module comprises:

  • 2 x RS232 physical interfaces (with hardware dataflow control – CTS/RTS lines),
  • 2 x RS485 half-duplex physical interfaces,
  • 2 x CAN-FD physical interfaces.

The SLH2-comm module can be conveniently mounted using 2,54 mm connectors on the StarSBC-6LL board (as on picture below).

ARM Cortex-A7 IoT SBC Sensor Hub

The StarSBC-6ULL SBC (Single Board Computer) is small but powerful IoT Sensor Hub, optimized for operation in applications requiring a large number of communication interfaces. The StarSBC-6ULL is equipped with on-board PHY 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet interface, Murata 1DX radio module (integrated WiFi/BLE), USB host and USB-OTG interfaces. The StarSBC-6ULL supports connections to a variety of interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART and CAN. Additionally the StarSBC-6ULL module is equipped with easy to use 2×26 pin connectors with  40 GPIOs for any use in user application.

The StarSBC-6ULL supports industrial grade embedded applications.

Note: the StarSBC-6ULL can be optionally equipped with communication expander module SLH2-comm (picture below), which is equipped with 2 x CAN, 2 x RS485, 2 x RS232 physical layers interfaces.

SpaceSOM-8Mplus (SLS35)

The SpaceSOM-8Mplus family is a SODIMM-sized SoM based on the NXP iMX8Mplus application processor which features a heterogeneous quad cores ARM Cortex-A53 together with an ARM Cortex-M7 core  as well as an advanced Neural Processing Unit (NPU, up to 2.3 TOPS), 3D Graphics Processing Unit (GPU Vivante GC7000UL) Open GL 3.1 ES compatible and VPU (encoder/decoder) HD1080p60 H.264, HD1080p60 H.265.

The quad Cortex-A53 and single Cortex-M7 based SpaceSOM module provides full flexibility to support real time application while supporting Linux, Android and advanced HMI.

The SpaceSOM-8Mplus is a general-purpose highly integrated SoM (System on Module), optimized for machine-learning, artificial intelligence and neural networks applications. The module is featuring high computation power. The option is fully certified dual-band Murata Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth (BLE 5.1) 1ZM module. This module simplifies the carrier board design and is ideally suited for wireless application. The VisionSOM-8Mmini provides a variety memory configuration, including flexible range of LPDDR4, eMMC and SD memory card.

The SpaceSOM-8Mplus supports connections to a variety of interfaces:

  • two high-speed USB 2.0/3.0,
  • two 1 Gb/s Ethernet MAC interfaces,
  • HDMI (eARC), 2 x LVDS and MIPI-DSI interfaces,
  • advanced Full HD display with 3D coprocessing and VPU encoder/decoder,
  • PCIe 3.0 serial interface,
  • two CAN-FD interfaces.

In addition, the system supports industrial grade embedded applications.

For evaluation purposes we recommend dedicated carrier-board SpaceCB-8Mplus-ADV.

VisionSOM-iMX93 (SLS26)
ARM Cortex-A55 (dual core)+Cortex-M33+ML+ AI (NPU)

The VisionSOM-iMX93 (SLS26) family is a SODIMM-sized SoM based on the NXP iMX93 application processor which features a heterogeneous dual cores ARM Cortex-A55 together with an ARM Cortex-M33 MCU core  as well as an advanced 2D Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and neural network/machine learning coprocessor (NPU).

The dual Cortex-A55 and single Cortex-M33 based VisionSOM provides full flexibility to support real time application while supporting Linux, advanced HMI and AI/ML.

The VisionSOM-iMX93 (SLS26) is a general-purpose highly integrated SoM (System on Module). The module is featuring high computation power inculding AI and ML coprocessor. The option is fully certified Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth (BLE 5.1) module. This module simplifies the carrier board design and is ideally suited for wireless application. The VisionSOM-iMX93 provides a variety memory configuration, including flexible range of LPDDR4 and eMMC Flash.

The VisionSOM-iMX93 supports connections to a variety of interfaces:

  • two high-speed USB on-the-go with PHY,
  • 2 x 1Gbit/s Ethernet,
  • modern I3C and all classic serial interfaces,
  • advanced Full HD display MIPI-DSI and HD LVDS interfaces,
  • automotive CAN-FD interfaces.

In addition, the system supports industrial grade embedded applications.

For evaluation purposes we recommend dedicated carrier-board VisionCB-iMX93-STD.

SL-ADP-PCIe-M2 – M.2 SSD to PCIe adapter

SL-ADP-PCIe-M2 M.2 SSD to PCIe adapter is intended for connecting Flash mass storage to selected SoMLabs carrier boards.

The SL-ADP-PCIe-M2 is compatible with M.2 devices in mechanical format 22xx (2242, 2260 or 2280).

The SL-ADP-PCIe-M2 is equipped with M.2 key M socket, single lane PCIe interface.
