VisionCB-8M-STD (with SOM with MPU iMX8M mini compatible) is a carrier board for the VisionSOM-8Mmini family of computer-on-modules which are powered by NXP SOC iMX8Mmini (quad core ARM Cortex-A53+ single Cortex-M4). A carrier board, together with a System on Module (SoM), makes a complete development platform similar to SBC. The carrier board houses the most common interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, PCIe, etc. A large variety of interfaces allows to use it as both a complete development platform or as a stand-alone end-product.

The carrier board connects with the SoM (with iMX8M mini)) via a standard SODIMM connector.

VisionCB-8M-STD carrier board is equipped with  Segger J-Link debugger and Linux serial console port on USB vCOM.

VisionCB-x2L-STD
For VisionSOM-V2L and VisionSOM-G2L

The VisionCB-x2L-STD (with SOM equipped with Renesas RZ/V2L and RZ/G2L MPUs compatible) is a carrier board for the VisionSOM-V2L and VisionSOM-G2L family of computer-on-modules which are powered by dual-core Renesas MPUs (2 x ARM Cortex-A55+ Cortex-M33). A carrier board, together with a System on Module (SoM), makes a complete development platform similar to SBC. The carrier board houses the most common interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, CAN, RS485, audio codec, etc. A large variety of interfaces allows to use it as both a complete development platform or as a stand-alone end-product.

The carrier board connects with the SoM via a standard SODIMM connector, comaptible with both modules: VisionSOM-V2L and VisionSOM-G2L. The VisionCB-x2L-STD is equipped with a simple user interface consisting of 4 buttons and 4 LEDs. VisionCB-x2L-STD carrier board is also equipped with a large number of popular peripherals, including:

  • RS485,
  • CAN,
  • 10/100/1G Ethernet,
  • MIPI display and camera connectors,
  • serial console port on USB vCOM.
VisionCB-STM32MP1-STD
For VisionSOM-STM32MP1

VisionCB-STM32MP1-STD is a carrier board for the VisionSOM-STM32MP1 (STM32MP157) family of computer-on-modules which are powered by STMicroelectronics SOC STM32MP1 (dual core ARM Cortex-A7 + single Cortex-M4). A carrier board, together with a System on Module (SoM), makes a complete development platform similar to SBC. The carrier board houses the most common interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, etc. A large variety of interfaces allows to use it as both a complete development platform or as a stand-alone end-product.

The carrier board connects with the SoM via a standard SODIMM200 connector.

VisionCB-STM32MP1-STD is equipped with  ST-Link/v2-1 SWD debugger and Linux serial console port on USB vCOM.

StarCB-6ULL-STD
for StarSOM-6ULL

StarCB-6ULL-STD is a carrier board for the StarSOM-6ULL family of computer-on-modules, which are powered by NXP i.MX 6ULL application processors (ARM Cortex-A7). A carrier board, together with a System on Module (SoM), makes a complete development platform similar to SBC. The carrier board houses the most common interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, etc. A large variety of interfaces allows to use it as both a complete development platform or as a stand-alone end-product.

The carrier board connects with the SoM via a board-to-board, low profile connectors.

 

VisionSOM-8Mmini (SLS23)
ARM Cortex-A53 (quad core)+Cortex-M4

The VisionSOM-8Mmini family is a SODIMM-sized SoM based on the NXP iMX8Mmini application processor which features a heterogeneous quad cores ARM Cortex-A53 together with an ARM Cortex-M4 core  as well as an advanced 3D Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Open GL 2.0 ES compatible and VPU (encoder/decoder) HD1080p60 H.264, HD1080p60 H.265.

The quad Cortex-A53 and single Cortex-M4 based VisionSOM provides full flexibility to support real time application while supporting Linux and advanced HMI.

The VisionSOM-8Mmini is a general-purpose highly integrated SoM (System on Module). The module is featuring high computation power. The option is fully certified Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth (BLE 5.1) module. This module simplifies the carrier board design and is ideally suited for wireless application. The VisionSOM-8Mmini provides a variety memory configuration, including flexible range of LPDDR4, eMMC and SD memory card.

The VisionSOM-8Mmini supports connections to a variety of interfaces:

  • two high-speed USB on-the-go with PHY,
  • 1Gbit Ethernet,
  • audio,
  • advanced Full HD display with 3D coprocessing and VPU encoder/decoder,
  • touch panel and serial interfaces.

In addition, the system supports industrial grade embedded applications.

For evaluation purposes we recommend one of dedicated carrier-boards:  VisionCB-8M-ADV or VisionCB-8M-STD.

VisionSOM-V2L (SLS22)
ARM Cortex-A55 (dual core)+Cortex-M33+DRP-AI

The VisionSOM-V2L family is a SODIMM-sized SoM based on the Renesas RZ/V2L application processor which features a heterogeneous dual cores ARM Cortex-A55 together with an ARM Cortex-M33 real-time core  as well as an advanced 3D Graphics Processing Unit (Mali-G31 – Bifrost architecture GPU) Open GL 3.2 ES compatible and video codec (encoder/decoder) HD1080p30 H.264. Renesas RZ/V2L is also equipped with  AI accelerator “DRP-AI” for vision, which is Renesas’ original technology. “DRP-AI” is configured with DRP and AI-MAC.  The DRP-AI provides both real-time AI inference and image processing functions with the capabilities essential for camera support such as color correction and noise reduction. This enables customers to implement AI-based vision applications without requiring an external image signal processor (ISP).

The dual Cortex-A55 and single Cortex-M33 based VisionSOM provides full flexibility to support real time application while supporting Linux and advanced HMI.

VisionSOM-STM32MP1 (SLS18)
ARM Cortex-A7 (dual core)+Cortex-M4

The VisionSOM-STM32MP1 family is a SODIMM-sized SoM based on the STMicroelectronics STM32MP1 (by default STM32MP157) application processor. The processor features a heterogeneous single or dual ARM Cortex-A7 cores together with an ARM Cortex-M4 core as well as a 3D Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Open GL 2.0 ES compatible.

The dual Cortex-A7 and single Cortex-M4 based VisionSOM provides full flexibility to support real time application.

The VisionSOM-STM32MP1 is a general-purpose highly integrated SoM (System on Module). Module featuring high computation power and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity. The option of integrated, fully certified Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module simplifies the carrier board. The VisionSOM-STM32MP1 provides a variety memory configuration including flexible range of DDR3L, eMMC and SD memory card that meets our customers requirements.

The SoM supports connections to a variety of interfaces:

  • two high-speed USB on-the-go with PHY,
  • 10/100 Ethernet,
  • audio,
  • display with touch panel and serial interfaces.

In addition, the system supports industrial grade embedded applications.

SL-TFT7-TP-800-480-P (3.3V version) – 7” display module with RGB interface and CTP

SL-TFT7-TP-800-480-P is display module based on PH800480T013 Powertip high quality 7 inch RGB LCD-TFT display module with built-in capacitive touch panel and integrated touch panel controller (I2C). Module SL-TFT7-TP-800-480-P contains all DC/DC  converters that are necessary for single rail power supply (+3.3V).
LCD-TFT display matrix size is 800×480 pixels (RGB, 24 bits), communication and data interface are TTL-LV (3.3V) compatible.
FPC 50-pin 15-cm flat cable (A-A) is included.

 

 

VisionCB-RT1176-STD
