The StarSOM-6ULL (SLS06) family comprises compact System-on-Modules based on the NXP i.MX 6ULL application processor. The processor integrates a single high-performance Arm Cortex-A7 core operating at frequencies of up to 900 MHz.

The StarSOM-6ULL is a highly integrated, low-power System-on-Module offering high computing performance, an onboard 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet PHY and optional wireless connectivity. The optional, fully certified wireless module supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi compliant with IEEE 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.1. This integrated option simplifies carrier-board design and reduces the number of external components required.

The StarSOM-6ULL is available in various memory configurations, including a flexible range of DDR3L memory and eMMC flash capacities.

The module supports a wide range of interfaces, including:

  • two high-speed USB On-The-Go interfaces with integrated PHYs;
  • two Ethernet interfaces;
  • digital audio interfaces;
  • display and touch-panel interfaces;
  • a wide range of standard serial interfaces.

The StarSOM-6ULL is suitable for industrial-grade embedded applications requiring low power consumption, reliable communication interfaces and long-term operation.

The module features a square PCB form factor and two low-profile, 100-pin board-to-board connectors, providing a total of 200 connection points.
