VisionSOM-RT1170 (SLS14)
Dual core ARM Cortex-M7 + Cortex-M4
The VisionSOM-RT1170 (SLS14) family is a SODIMM-sized SoM based on the NXP i.MX RT117x single/dual core SoC which features a high-performance real-time microcontroller. The main core is ARM Cortex-M7 core (at speed up to 1GHz) and the second is ARM Cortex-M4 (at speed up to 400MHz).
The VisionSOM-RT1170 (SLS14) is a low power highly integrated SoM (System-on-Module) featuring high computation performance, real-time functionality and MCU usability. High security is enabled by Elliptic Curve Cryptography, AES-128/256, RNG4, RSA4096, DES/3-DES etc. HAB and On-the-fly QSPI Flash decryption together with 2D graphical acceleration make an ideally suited solution for home and industrial control systems, wireless application, communication solutions and real-time systems.
For evaluation purposes we recommend dedicated carrier-board VisionCB-RT1176-STD.
VisionSOM-RT-ETH (SLS13)

The VisionSOM-RT-ETH (SLS13 family) is a SODIMM-sized SoM based on the NXP i.MX-RT10xx processor which features a high-performance real-time microcontroller. The MCU core is ARM Cortex-M7 core (at speed up to 528MHz).
The VisionSOM-RT-ETH (SLS13 family) is a low power highly integrated SoM (System-on-Module) featuring Ethernet interface on-board (PHY), high computation performance, real-time functionality and MCU usability. High security is enabled by AES-128. StarSOM-STM32V8 (SLS08)
ARM Cortex-M85 MCU with PCM NV memory and Ethernet PHY on-board
The StarSOM-STM32V8 (SLS08) family is a miniature computing module based on the STM32V873XJH6 MCU, which features high-performance real-time microcontrollers. The main core is an ARM Cortex-M85 running at speeds of up to 800 MHz, supported by 4 MB of non-volatile memory NVM manufactured using FD-SOI 18 nm technology. The semiconductor structure of the STM32V8 is resistant to operation at temperatures of up to 140°C. The StarSOM-STM32V8 (SLS08) modules are optionally equipped with an Ethernet PHY interface.
The StarSOM-STM32V8 is a low-power, highly integrated System-on-Module (SoM) offering high computational performance, real-time functionality, and MCU-level usability. Advanced security features include TrustZone and a built-in cryptographic coprocessor supporting AES, HMAC, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2, and more. Integrated ChromART, Chrom-GRC, and a TFT LCD controller make it an ideal solution for home and industrial control systems, wireless applications, communication solutions, and real-time systems.
The square-shaped PCB of the StarSOM-STM32V8 (SLS08) module is equipped with low-profile board-to-board connectors with 2 × 100 pins.
For evaluation purposes, we recommend the dedicated StarCB-STM32V8-STD carrier board.

StarSOM-STM32H757 (SLS05)
Dual core ARM Cortex-M7 + Cortex-M4 with Ethernet PHY on-board
The StarSOM-STM32H757 (SLS05) family is a miniature computing module based on the STM32H757 dual core SoC which features a high-performance real-time microcontrollers. The main core is ARM Cortex-M7 core (at speed up to 480MHz) and the second is ARM Cortex-M4 (at speed up to 240MHz).
The StarSOM-STM32H757 (SLS05) modules are equipped with optional WiFi/BT module and Ethernet PHY interface.

Square shaped PCB of StarSOM-STM32H757 (SLS05) module is equipped with board-to-board, low profile connectors with 2×100 pins.
For evaluation purposes we recommend dedicated carrier-board StarCB-STM32H757-STD.

VisionSOM socket
VisionSOM socket – recommended SODIMM 200 by TE Connectivity Part #1473005-4 . This is the best solution for VisionSoM modules to be populated by our customer on their carrier boards. It enables plug in and plug out SOM for several times without decreasing connection quality.
This is a SODIMM 200 socket with the following key features:

SL-ANT01
SL-ANT01 antenna (Molex PN: 146153-0100) is a recommended accessory for the VisionSOM module family.
This antenna is designed as a general solution to cover the current market applications, with an easy installation through a cable connection. It is a 2.4/5GHz balance flex antenna (Wi-Fi 6E), 9.00mm width, 100.00mm cable length, compatible with the U.FL connector that is populated on SoM.
SL-ANT02
SL-ANT02 antenna (Taoglas PN: FXP70.07.0053A) is a recommended accessory for the VisionSOM module family.
The FXP70 Freedom 2.4GHz antenna works on WiFi, ZigBee, Bluetooth and ISM band at 2.4GHz. This antenna is designed as a general solution to cover the current market applications, with an easy installation through a cable connection. The antenna is designed to work on a variety of plastics and thicknesses.
SL-ANT03
SL-ANT03 antenna is a recommended accessory for the VisionSOM module family.
This antenna is designed as a general solution to cover the current market applications, with an easy installation through a cable connection. It is 5 dBi Antenna with its diameter of 12 mm and 19 mm height. It is compatible with the U.FL connector that is populated on SoM.
Power Supply 12V/2A (EU)
Switched-mode AC power supply 12V/2A with DC 5.5×2.1 connector and EU plug. The power supply has built-in overload, overvoltage and short-circuit protection. The power supply is Energy Efficiency Level V compliant. The length of the output cable is 1.2m.
The DC 5.5×2.1 plug can be plugged into the DC socket on the carrier board.
